WHAT IS S.E.R.E?

Thomas Solutions Incorporated (TSI) is proud to support the U.S. Warfighter, the best the world has known. We serve the United States Army Special Operations Command by providing Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (S.E.R.E.) training. The mission of the United States Army (SERE) School is "to ensure each student gains the ability to effectively employ the SERE tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) necessary to return with honor regardless of the circumstances of separation, isolation or capture." This level of training is mandatory for military personnel, DoD civilians, and other contractors whose “jobs, specialties or assignments entail a significant or high risk of capture and exploitation.”

The SERE course has several components which include hands on learning and classroom instruction. The course is designed to develop the special operator’s inner-strength, adaptability, mental fortitude, and overall leadership capacity. This vital training regiment ensures that our most elite soldiers are equipped with the ability to survive and return with honor. TSI is extremely proud and committed to continue providing excellent leadership and instruction to enhance this important program.

Ben Palka graduated from the State University College at Buffalo State with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and earned a Master of Theology from Southeastern Baptist. Benjamin has worked overseas and domestically in communication, community development, recruitment, religious education, business, and research. He is interested in the intersection of statecraft, theology, and interpersonal communication. He has proven experience providing ideological and theological analyses and assessments.
